Minoans Vs. Mycenaeans

The Minoans and Mycenaean, while seemingly similar were actually quite different. For one, the location. The Minoan Civilization was an island civilization, whereas the Mycenaean civilization was located inland. Because of the Minoans being located on an island, they were sailors, and their land was open, unlike the Mycenaeans who closed themselves in, even in the palaces, the Mycenaeans' main room was enclosed and dark, while the Minoans' main room was open and near nature. The art also shows that the Mycenaeans were more war focused, while the Minoans' were more focused on everyday life.
